About Us
Seguin Electric Company, Inc. was founded in 1947 by Ed Boehnke and Frank Klein and has been located in several buildings throughout Seguin. The company first began operating out of Mr. Klein's home and then moved to a building on Court Street, presently the Guadalupe County Tax Assessor & Collection office.

Throughout the years to follow, the company was located in four buildings on Austin Street. The first was at the present location of Eagle Rental and the second was at the old saw shop next to the present site of Seguin Electric Co., Inc. The company relocated to the present Gustav Tool and Die Works, and then finally resided at 1406 N. Austin Street.

Both Mr. Klein and Mr. Boehnke retired in the 1970s. Larry took ownership in 1970, and his brother, Ralph, joined him in 1977.
